The annual National Week of Science on Screen will take place from Wednesday, March 20, to Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

If you choose to take part (and we really hope you do!), we will need your program details (film, speaker, and topic) by Thursday, January 24 in order to include your event in our national press release and intro video.

National Evening of Science on Screen events typically run like regular Science on Screen events, with one addition: Your theater must screen a brief introduction video provided by the Coolidge. (You can view a sample video here.)

That said, this is our first year holding a National Week of Science on Screen, rather than a National Evening. If the new format inspires you to hold more or different kinds of events, go for it! National Week events that follow the lecture + screening Science on Screen format will count as one of the screenings you are required to do in order to fulfill your grant. (We're happy to talk about whether your event qualifies; just email info@scienceonscreen.org to discuss.)

Please share photos and/or video footage from your National Week event(s) via your SoS Dropbox folder!
